CotizSolida

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 28, 2026. This policy explains what data the CotizSolida app uses, why, and what your rights are.

1. Data controller

KASSEM&CO SARL, Côte d’Ivoire. Contact: contacts@cotizsolida.com.

Declaration to the Telecommunications/ICT Regulatory Authority of Côte d’Ivoire (ARTCI): in progress.

2. Data collected

Your phone number and your name, to create and secure your account.

For each tontine: its name, amount, currency, frequency, dates, payout order, members (name, number, currency), payment declarations and confirmations, pot receipt confirmations and the action log.

For each collection: its title, beneficiary, message, goal, deadline, participants (name, number, currency), declared and confirmed amounts and the action log.

Phone contacts: the app only accesses your address book if you allow it, and only saves the contacts you choose to add to a tontine or a collection. The rest of your address book is neither read nor sent.

Your subscription (plan and end date), your phone’s notification token and the history of notifications sent by the app.

The app does not collect your location or your photos, and does not use advertising.

3. Why this data is used

To provide the service: sign-in, managing tontines, tracking contributions, transparency between members (performance of the contract).

To send you notifications (reminders, confirmations, new rounds), if you allow them on your phone (consent, which you can withdraw in your phone’s settings).

To manage the subscription, prevent fraud and meet our legal obligations.

4. Who can see your data

Members of the same tontine see the names of the other members, the payment statuses, the payout order and the log of that tontine. They do not see your other tontines.

Participants in the same collection see the names of the other participants and the log of that collection; the organizer can hide individual amounts.

Our technical service providers, who act only on our instructions: Supabase (database hosting, servers located in the European Union, in Paris), Expo, Google (Firebase) and Apple (delivery of notifications), Meta (WhatsApp) and SMS providers (sending of sign-in codes).

Your data is never sold.

5. International transfers

The app is open to users in all countries. Data is hosted in the European Union (Paris, France), which offers a recognized level of protection.

Some service providers (notifications, WhatsApp, SMS) may process data in other countries, in particular the United States, with appropriate safeguards (for example the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses).

These transfers are governed by Ivorian Law No. 2013-450 on the protection of personal data and, for users located in the European Union, by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

6. Retention period

Account data is kept as long as the account is active. A tontine’s data and its log are kept for the whole duration of the tontine, then for [TO BE COMPLETED: period, for example 5 years] after it ends, to serve as evidence in case of dispute.

7. Your rights

You can request access to your data, its correction or deletion, object to certain processing, withdraw your consent to notifications and request the portability of your data. You also keep the rights granted to you by the law of your country of residence.

You can delete your account at any time from the app: “About”, then “Delete my account”. Deletion is only possible once the tontines you take part in and the collections you organize are finished. Your account, your subscription and your messages are then deleted; in finished tontines, your name remains in the history and the log for the other members, and your number is erased.

To exercise your other rights, contact us: contacts@cotizsolida.com. We reply within one month.

You can also contact ARTCI (Côte d’Ivoire) or the data protection authority of your country of residence (for example the CNIL in France or the AEPD in Spain).

8. Security

Communications are encrypted. Access to data is restricted by rules enforced by the server: each person only sees the tontines and collections they belong to.
